1974: Trained under his father Hiroshi Yamato.
1974: Selected for Yamaguchi prefectural art competition. Five times.
1976: Exhibition Hiroshi and Kiyoshi at Yokohama Takashimaya.
1977: Selected Western Japan kogei competition. Five times.
1978: Solo exhibition at Nihonbashi Tokyu.
1979, 1980, 1984, 1988, 1990, 1998: Solo exhibition at Yokohama Takashimaya.
1981: Selected for Japan ceramic competition.
1983, 1984, 1988, 1990, 1998: Selected for Japan traditional kogei competition.
1988: Prized Asahi newspaper company incentive award of Japan kogei Yamaguchi branch.
1989: Solo exhibition at Umeda Hanshin.
1992: Awarded honorable mention of Yamaguchi prefectural art competition. Twice.
1994: Became Nihon Kogeikai regular member. Left it in 2002.
Gained grand prix of Chanoyu no zokei competition.
Prized for NHK award of Japan kogei Yamaguchi branch competition.
1995, 1998: Solo exhibition at Hiroshima Sogo.
1995, 1996, 1997, 2003: Selected for Chanoyu no zokei competition.
1996, 1998: Solo exhibition at Tokyu head quarter. 
1996: Prized YAB TV station award of Japan kogei Yamaguchi branch.
2000: Start his own kiln “Meizen kiln”.
