From December 4th, an exhibition of Koudai Ujiie who is a young pottery in Sendai.

The intrusion “Kannyu” caused by the cracks in the glaze becomes visible as the ceramic is used, and brings out the charm of the ceramic itself.

He dyes the “Kannyu” with Urushi or Gosu to give the Kannyu a sense of dynamism. It makes the presence of the work stand out.

An Kannyu with vitality like a blood vessel, a boldly shaped form, and a bold and carefully made the bottom “Kodai”.

We would like to introduce the works of young artists who are expected in the future in Japanese ceramics.
